Background: Amoxicillin has a better ability to penetrate the outer membrane of some gram-negative bacteria and has a broad spectrum of activity. Amoxicillin is reported to be more active in vitro than Ampicillin against Enterococcus faecalis, Heliobacterpylori and Salmonella spp. Germs sensitive to this drug are gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria such as Staphylocccus sp., Streptococcus sp., E. coli, Pasteurella sp., Haemophilus sp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, and Clostridium perfringens.
Objective: To let all the customers (including Healthcare Personnel) know about our existing product: WIDECILLIN ® FINE GRANULES 50% and find the information about the product.
Class of therapy: Penicillin class antibiotics
Indication: Cattle: Diarrhea caused by the coli form of germs Poultry: Colibacillosis, Leg - problem (caused by Staphylococcus sp.), Necrotic enteritis, Coryza and Salmonellosis Swine: Pneumonia
Dosage and instruction to use: The medicine is dissolved in drinking water. For cows, the medicine is mixed and dissolved into fresh milk, milk replacer or drinking water. Dosage of medicine: - Cattle: 10~20 mg Widecillin® Fine Granules 50%/kg body weight/day - Poultry: 40~100 mg Widecillin® Fine Granules 50%/kg body weight/day - Swine: 10 ~ 20 mg Widecillin® Fine Granules 50% / kg body weight / day Administered for 12~24 hours per day, and repeated 3~5 days
Caution: 1. Continuous use should not exceed one week 2. Medicine only for veterinary use |
